In april 2018, I joined the Wix Bookings team as a senior designer in order to re-think the platform, improve its current state and build new features.
After a year, I got promoted to Design Team Lead and started to assume management responsibilities (Hiring / Process definition / Mentoring / etc.), became in charge of the design vision of the product and kept on designing end to end features.

Leading Product Design
The public company Wix is divided in a series of mini companies. Some build the main platforms (the website editors, the mobile app, etc.) while others develop application for small & medium businesses.
For 3 years, I have been leading the design of Wix Bookings, a web and mobile application to take and manage online bookings. During this time, I was responsible for:

Working at Wix has been a great opportunity to apply a lot of the theoritical knowledge I had to product design. I have been able to lead the end to end design of an entire platform in a very high paced environment, always in collaboration with Product Managers, Back-end and Front-end Engineers, Product Writers and Data Analysts.
On top of it, I was given the responsibility to build, lead and grow a team of designers which was my very first experience to people management. This role came with its own set of challenges, all very interesting to be confronted to.
